Walkin’ in a winter wonderland

Day 5: From a high angle
Today I went for a walk around the town where I live.  It was a crisp morning with snow banks on either side of the sidewalk and icy patches to be avoided.  While on my walk, I crossed the old railroad bridge that spans the river going through town.  It hasn’t been used for trains since the 1950s when they took the tracks out, but they have kept up the bridge as a pedestrian walkway.  I was glad that I was walking on the bridge and didn’t have to ford the icy waters on foot.
