Autumn is here

“While the earth remains,
Seedtime and harvest,
Cold and heat,
Winter and summer,
And day and night Shall not cease.”
-a promise from God (Genesis 8:22)
Even though fall is not my favourite season, I am still appreciating it beauty found in nature as it prepares for the cold of winter.

  1. GREAT photos Kendra! I love that one of looking up at the leaves - really pretty! I think you are one of the few (....if only?!?) people (person) I know who doesn't think fall is their favourite season! Nice to see you on here again - it feels like it has been ages! I miss you! :) ♥

  2. Fall means winter is coming. Fall means putting on sweaters and not wearing sandals very often. Fall means closing the windows and not having much fresh air coming in. Fall means using the dryer instead of hanging the clothes outside. I LOVE spring (once the snow melts) and summer (give me sweat over shivers any day). I like fall and winter is tolerable ... but they are not my favs. :)

    1. Oh and probably my least favourite thing about fall is that the daylight hours are getting fewer and fewer. I love how you notice in Febrary that the days are starting to get longer and I also love that in June it's light from 5 am - 10 pm. It helps me get up earlier... :)

  3. I love the picture of the tree with half green leaves and half red/orange leaves :)

    2. Two trunks! That's impressive :)
Has it lost all it's leaves?

  4. Wonderful pictures, Kendra. Fall is here and soon it'll be winter. It turned cold suddenly. A few days ago I was in shorts and a shirt; now I've on jeans.
